The Seed Holy pleasure gives us back to love; wounded appetite keeps us bright enough to hide. The Unfolding The test of stimulation is not how brightly it burns, but what kind of person it leaves behind. Does it return us to the room, to the body, to the bread, to the neighbour, to the God who is near? Or does it keep sensation moving across the surface of the soul so grief never has to speak? Holy pleasure makes love more possible. Wounded appetite only teaches pain how to hide.
